Four new interns joined Library Futures’s returning cohort in Spring 2025! They each bring a unique set of skills, interests, and pursuits, and they are excited to join the LF team. Let’s get to know each of them a little bit.

Thomas (he/him) is a Master of Library and Information Science student at University of California Los Angeles. He is curious about how we come to know what we know and is committed to advancing democratic, non-commercial avenues for sharing that knowledge. He believes that librarians have the power to facilitate a more equitable, creative, and participatory society. Thomas is happiest “Sitting under a tree looking at birds.” His personal motto? He often hears Alan Watts in his head, reminding him that “the world is wiggly.”
THÉODORA DILLMAN

She went on to complete a master's degree in the humanities at UChicago with a focus in art history and curatorial studies. Théodora is currently a first year law student at Loyola University Chicago School of Law. When asked about her interests, Théodora included “Research and academic interests at the nexus of all things humanities and law-- artists' and authors' rights, access to information, and museum and library legal needs.” She is happiest doing anything outdoors, painting, visiting art museums, and watching her siblings compete in sports. “Find the joy in everything” is Théordora’s philosophy.
