Thomas Alexander shared key insights from the Future of Library-Local News Collaboration eeport, for which he interviewed eleven librarians and journalists about how they can better partner with one another to create accessible and sustainable digital local news.
Théodora Dillman shared key findings and takeaways from the beginning stages of her research project, Making a Team: Libraries and Lawyers, which inquires into the relationships between libraries and the lawyers who work with them.
Thomas Gagnon-van Leeuwen presented his zine TRACK 10: a librarian’s journey beyond the algorithm, which explores music recommendation algorithms and how librarians can build alternatives to commercial streaming platforms.
Siena Oristaglio described the process of helping to create Imagine IF, a choose-your-own adventure game that prepares library workers for challenges to intellectual freedom in the workplace.
