Jill Hurst-Wahl is a consultant, speaker, writer, researcher, and educator. She is a president of Hurst Associates, Ltd., which works with a broad range of organizations. Jill is also professor emerita in Syracuse University’s School of Information Studies, where she taught graduate M.S. Library and Information Science (MSLIS) courses, including “Copyright for Information Professionals.” She is a former director of the iSchool MSLIS program. She is a current member of the Onondaga County Public Library Board of Trustees and EveryLibrary Institute, in addition to Library Futures. She is a former member of the Special Libraries Association Board of Directors, the NYS Regents Advisory Council on Libraries, and the USNY Technology Policy and Practices Council.
